Lil Sambos in Lincoln City

So glad we stopped before we left! Best burger I've had in a long time bacon was cooked to perfection! He even gave us free drinks for the wait that was worth it.

Any good review of this place is a lie. It used to be really good and packed all the time. We went in January and we will never be back. It's just gone downhill in so many ways.

Food was great and our server was so friendly! The gift shop has so many awesome things!

Always excellent service and fabulous food! The pancakes are amazing-none better anywhere! I had corned beef hash and eggs. There was hash browns onnthe bottom, shredded corned beef over that, and I chose scrambled eggs with cheese. It was amazing! All fresh ingredients!

Chill breakfast spot . Tasty food served quickly. The lady who sat us and cashed us out was an absolute delight! Also has a cute gift shop with lots of sweet mementos.

The last thing I wanna do is write a bad review. Unfortunately, everything we ordered left a lot to be desired. For instance, SEASONING! Everything tasted very bland. The crab on the crab egg benedict tasted very fishy, and was rock crab not dungeness.. The hollandaise sauce was flavorless. The potatoes lacked seasoning, and were undercooked. The ice tea was watered down. The cappuccino was from a machine. They serve the pancakes with cold syrup. Just wanted to let others know before selecting this location for an enjoyable breakfast. The server was very nice though… I will say that.

Amazing food, priced right, large portions, outstanding taste!Great service with friendly staff who don't just do the bare minimum... our waitress today was really kind and always made sure we had what we needed.Restaurant ambience: The inside looks really awesome!They have a really cool store/gift shop. There are so many things to look at/buy!These items are all very versatile! Ranging from antiques, to hand made crafts, to souvenirs, and to the newest coolest trending items that kids flip for! Can't wait to come back and visit Lincoln city again so I can come back here and try something else from the menu! (And purchase another handmade treasure!)The plan was to go to Pig N Pancake. Instead, I made a legal U-turn to come eat here instead. So glad to have made that decision!Come here and eat! This place is neat!

Even with the capacity being cut down due to covid the wait wasn't awful. The food was delicious as you'd expect and the staff were all super friendly

Wonderful breakfast. The red potatoes and biscuits with gravy are very flavorful. The crab omletette was stuffed and deliciously salty.

Food portions are enough to appease the appetites of most. Friendly service

Kathy was our food server and she was very friendly and attentive to our dining needs. They also have the best French Fries. 🍟

Breakfast was delicious! Service was both prompt and friendly. If you are a fan of bacon then do yourself a favor and add some to your breakfast. Delicious! If you are not a fan of bacon that's ok too - more for me. 😂

Suggested by friend while we were in town, it did not disappoint. Good sized servings(I am a power eater) and probably the best bacon I have had in a long while. Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs Benedict were great. Place was packed since open, but the Drive Up was available and so fast, server was very friendly.

They had a drive through with great colorful fun decorations and animal props. The waitress came out and was super nice. Fast service with great food . I'm going back soon for sure.

First time eating at a restaurant in 3 months. Great choice. Good sanitation and distancing. Great service! Great food! I was impressed.

Ate here on a day trip to Lincoln City before heading to Fogerty Park. Service was excellent as was the food. Dining in our "virus world" isn't always a good experience but this visit was. Meat Lovers omelette was stuffed with lots of meat and hash browns were cooked just like I asked for. Chicken Fried steak was very good as was the chicken bacon cheese sandwich. Good job everyone. Good meal.

The only reason I wouldn't give them five starts is there were people coughing not covering there mouths. The wait staff did go above and beyond and put my family in a separate room I thanked them for this. They need to have a cover your cough or pay and leave policy masks should be worn if your not eating. Common sense people saves lives your feeling mean nothing to the ones you could get sick. Thank you to the staff I really appreciate you.

Weird little place and 3 stars is generous. First thing when you walk in you are hit with a smell. Best way to describe it is an old persons house. Food was ok (though there was a hair on my little butter cup). I had the meat lovers omelette. It was average, but decent portions for the price.

Great food and friendly staff. My boyfriend is the hardest person to please when it comes to food , and specially with bacon and he said it was the best bacon he’s ever had. I even picked up some souvenirs on our way out.

I was a little hesitant at first in stopping here. It was a long drive, coming on 3pm and on an empty stomach. I needed a place my 2 kids and (dairy free/gluten free) husband could eat. I was impressed by the hospitality and portions. Mom and pop place. Kids menu is good, salmon/ steaks are great, pancakes are advertised as the best in town and we confirmed it! Formally known as Pixie Pancakes back in the day. I liked the way they had their story on the menu. Family oriented, staff was great and kids get a free cone with a kid meal purchase. I reccomend a try.

Great breakfast! Our waiter Tyson is known as the king of whipped cream, and it is a title that is well deserved!

If you enjoy good food with a fun atmosphere and friendly staff this is the place for you! I noticed some of the reviews weren’t so great but that wasn’t my experience at all. For me the timing worked perfectly! I was able to order food, check out the fun gift shop/atmosphere and when I was done I had a very short wait for my food and it was delicious!! I’m a major breakfast fan so I eat that almost everywhere but the bacon here is probably the best I’ve ever had (sorry mom 🤷‍♀️) I say check it out👌*no filter on the photos #sorrynotsorry

My wife and I was looking for a place to have breakfast, this place has so much charatsic. They greeted you as soon walk in the. And they even have a gift shop....

We loved this restaurant. It has a great atmosphere that reminded us of a Cracker Barrel restaurant. The food was very tasty and perfect for a big appetite.

The best eggs ever. Amazing server Kathy. A bit more expensive than say Dennys or an Elmers but the portion sizes are huge! Would eat here again!

They are wonderful. The owner who in her 90's still works there. The employees are very friendly. There was one gal there who went out of her way to make thing work out at closing. The food is wonderful

because they gave me a cup of gravy and didnt put the lid on right. As soon as I got to the car it spilled everywhere and I have to go clean gravy off my floor mats and the floor lining. thankfully I don't have cloth seats.After eating the food: good bacon! eggs cooked perfectly!their freezer or fridge needs to be cleaned regularly. the biscuit and hashbrowns both had a pretty gross freezer/refrigerator taste to it, so that was really off-putting :/ I KNOW this place is good, I just think I caught them on a bad day!

First time in Lincoln City and we tried this place for breakfast and me and my husband were very impressed. Friendly staff and the food was really delicious and big portions too. Will be coming back here for sure highly recommended!!!!!

Came here with my husband and we very much enjoyed our experience. The food was good, the server was awesome, super attentive, but not clingy, food came out in a timely manner and we were very pleased. We won't hesitate to come back again next time we are in the area.

Perfect poached egg! Good blueberry crepes. .. No WIFI, not many people there for a change but, slow service (more difficult to wait without Wi-Fi) and a clogged toilet in the ladies restroom was another long wait (2 stalls to only 1 available for all guests)

This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner but it is one of only few places in Lincoln City that offers a large selection of breakfast dishes. It is great for kids especially with gift shop full of kid stuff. Portion sizes are large here as well so you will get your money's worth.

We popped in 10 minutes after they opened with a party of five with other customers right behind. The decor was about as whimsical as you'd expect it to be (having a knowledge so Sambo is helpful). The food was great and came and larger portions than you would expect. Even as busy as they were our waiter handled small alterations with a smile. Overall I definitely say I will be back! Great staff, food and atmosphere what more can you ask for.

Perfect family destination while visiting the coast. If I lived in town would probably be there few times a week. Waffles were perfect as well as the breakfast burritos. Give it a try!

The food was good but the service was terrible. Took a minute to get seated becuz no one really seemed to know what hey were doing. Then once we got seated our waitress was nothing but rude. Every time she came to our table she either had something smart to say or she would mumble stuff under her breathe as she was walking away. Then we asked about why the STUFFED French toasted didn’t have any stuffing (cream cheese), we were told that they don’t stuff it, (so then it’s not stuffed toast like the menu says) it goes on top and it’s not cream cheese it’s powdered sugar and water that they drizzle on top, which there wasn’t any of that either. And then she was rude enough to go to the kitchen and bring out some little sample of this “cream cheese/sugar paste” and slapped it down on the table and was like this is what it is, then walked away. It was unbelievable..

The three of us ate crab cakes, French dip, and fettuccine Alfredo. All was delicious.

This is my second visit to Lil Sambos. It had been a couple years. The food was amazing! I got the cod fish and chips and onion rings. Everything was delicious. The fish was tender and not overcooked, fries were so-so, and the onion rings were amazing. Lots of food for a great value. They serve breakfast all day too.

The service was good, we were seated quickly and our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was less than pleasing though. Pancakes were still raw in the center, the burger we ordered was cold when it came out, with an entire slab of onion and a tomato half the burger size, looked like they just threw it on the plate without a care.

Great food! Used the drive thru pick up option...fast, friendly service. Highly recommend the crab cake Benedict with the pancake side..very yummy!

Waited 20 minutes for someone to greet us and put our name on the waiting list. Plenty of staff members saw us and ignored us. We left before anyone even came over to put our name down. If this is them functioning at half capacity, I can’t imagine what full capacity is like.
